Hours for Saturday, November 18 & Thanksgiving Week

We’ll be open from 11am to 5pm Saturday, November 18th for bottle and cans sales, both to-go and for onsite consumption in the beer garden. We have Astral Traveler, Random Name Generator & Robust Porter cans, cases of Maynard’s Extra Special Bitter cans are on sale $60, and we have some great bottles to share with family and friends. This may be your last chance to grab cans or bottles before the holiday as the weather for Wednesday is looking a bit crappy and we are not permitted to sell beer to-go on Thanksgiving day. That said we will definitely be open Thanksgiving morning from 8-11am for our annual eye opener.

Hours, Events & Releases Nov 11

Join us on Saturday, November 11th from 11a-5p in the beer garden and outdoor market for the return of our Maynard’s Finest Robust Porter, repeatedly touted as one of the best porters in the state! Our draught system has been cleaned and serviced for a winter slumber, but we’ll have a jockey box with pours of this new batch of porter (and a keg of ipa) alongside 4-packs for retail and a variety of other delicious beers.

We’re also pouring samples at the Assabet Co-op Market from noon to 3pm, stop in to check out the new store and try some tasty beers if you are out and about!

Hours & Events for Nov 3 & 4

Friday, November 3rd, 4-8pm
Saturday, November 4th, 11-5pm

Our Outdoor Patio & Market will be open Friday, November 3rd from 4-8pm for a local annual pub crawl, members of the public are encouraged to join us for consumption onsite and purchases to-go. Saturday we will be open with our holiday schedule from 11am to 5pm. We still have draught service heading into this weekend, but this may be the last chance for the kegcooler as temps are dropping. Bottle & Can service will be available as well.

Where we're at

At the end of October we will begin winding down beer garden operations for the Winter, as we unfortunately have been unsuccessful in obtaining the necessary construction permits for us to move inside. Beginning in November, we will be offering limited Saturday hours for retail and onsite pours through the end of the year, in addition to a few special events like our annual Thanksgiving Morning pre-game (on-site only, no retail sales), and as the weather allows. Be sure to follow us here or on social media for updated hours/pop-ups, news and events, along with a list of retailers and restaurants that carry our beer in Mass and Rhode Island.

Old Jazz Standards Release Thursday 10/26

On Thursday we’ll be releasing an extremely limited amount of Old Jazz Standards, a 7.5% Blonde Brett Bière de Garde featuring Blue Ox Malthouse Yankee Pils, Wheat, Oat, Vyenna and Munich malts alongside a light hand of Czech Saaz hops. Fermented cool with two special Belgian yeast strains and Brettanomyces. Can conditioned for continued development and added funk with time in the cellar.

Farewell 76

Our tenure at 76 Main Street is coming to an end. We are not closing, but our new home — 100 feet away at 58 Main Street — isn’t quite ready for the public yet. In the meantime we will be operating the beer garden for onsite service and retail purchases outdoors. This move will allow us a permanent home for our Downtown Maynard taproom with cohesive indoor/outdoor service and a better overall experience for our guests.
