On July 3rd we are releasing a very special collaboration to benefit the Skate for the 22 Foundation. Last Autumn we paired up with our dear friends Dave Pappas of the Black Ale Project and Michael Souza of John Harvard's Brewery to create this special dark farmhouse ale with fresh grated ginger. This barrel aged version has been rested on Plums in freshly dumped Red Wine barrels for 6 months with a variety of cultures. Notes of rich dark fruit blend with jammy red wine, toasted oak, and hints of cocoa with a balanced acidity to round it all out. At 8.5% Alc. by Vol. this very special release, Mouth For Wort, truly packs a punch.
